a new time
If I had to make a video about a fox crossing the roads at night, it would be like this one.
My drawing process is in an incubation phase nowadays. The phase started last year when I joined my Dutch language classes and it will continue in the same way the first half of this year. Initially I found it stressful to stay away from the studio, but I've grown more used to it now and am finding the incubation handy as I work on some notes for a new project. I hope to visit here more often and post around my ideas as and when I can.
Watching the video again.

studio oct 24: Tetraptych
Finally, I have week to spend working on images! Feels great.
Plus I like tetraptychs. My drawings feel less lonely in a four image series. A family of four + polyphony.

I am learning a new language and the classes and homework keep me away from working. Images and ideas are queuing up for a round about the studio, and soon there will be thought pile-up. Perhaps that is a good thing for poetry.

The concepts are muddled in my mind now: how is noise different from silence, language different from chaos, texture different from what is plain.
